]]> DAS were commissioned by a government department to create and maintain a big data platform able to enhance cyber situational awareness and protect digital assets.  The department also wanted to improve the quality of their data through the development of new data structures. This would enable innovative machine learning and data science techniques to be used to exploit data. In turn, allowing data to be used to enhance decision-making capabilities and increase automation.

As part of the project, DAS used machine learning techniques to develop a data platform able to protect the departments digital estate.

The platform is still routinely used today. The technologies we deployed have substantially improved users cyber situational awareness. The platform’s automation capability has also dramatically reduced the manual labour necessary to protect the cyberspace.
