Simulator inputs characterized events and conditions that affected yard work: pandemic, a strike, the generational wave of workforce retirements at US shipbuilders, along with government procurement problems and regular Navy design changes.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The Yard-Wide Simulator independently reproduced monthly work progress and labour-hours expended for each individual hull in each work-stage, with a median error rate of under 4%.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Risk-based analyses also demonstrated significant performance gains from various strategic shipyard investments.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>This platform can quickly deliver a yard-wide digital-twin for any naval
