You Apply for a Role

Your application will be submitted directly to DAS for review by our experienced recruitment team; you’ll receive an email within 24 hours to confirm that it has been successfully received. You can expect to hear from us to confirm next step within five working days.

Stage One: If your CV shows the skills we’re looking for, our recruitment team will contact you to arrange a telephone interview. During this call, we’ll take you through a series of questions designed to find out more about you, your motivation for applying for the role and your professional background and career development goals, as well as some housekeeping questions, such as where you are based and your salary expectation. We’ll also tell you more about life at DAS and what you can expect from working here.

Stage Two: If the first call goes well, and you’re keen to continue through the process, our recruitment team will arrange a second interview with the hiring manager. This may take place face to face or over Teams. The hiring manager may be supported by another member of the business during this interview, such as a technical expert or member of our leadership team. During this interview, we aim to provide you with more insight into the role you have applied for and assess your technical capabilities against the requirements of the role. You’ll get the chance to ask more questions about life at DAS and the position. The hiring manager will be keen to understand your skills and experience, but also your motivations and your professional aspirations – all of which help us to understand how we can support your career!

Stage Three: We aim to keep our recruitment process as succinct as possible. We understand the recruitment market moves fast and that taking lots of time away from your current role to interview isn’t always possible. That’s why we do our best to complete our interview process within two interviews. If you’re successful after the second, we aim to notify you that we’d like to offer you a position within two working days. Congratulations!

Of course. It is not always possible to provide detailed feedback following an unsuccessful application due to the number of applications we receive. However, we always do our best to provide an overview of why your application has not progressed. Following interview, you will always be contacted by either the recruitment team or the hiring manager to provide feedback and confirmation of next steps.

Absolutely. If you aren’t successful, we encourage you to take onboard any feedback that we provide and apply again when you feel you are ready.
